Hiding places

Emily has found a new hiding place. Thankfully she doesn't have that many! She discovered this yesterday as she was taking out my pots and pans. She realized she could climb in when it was pretty much empty. Oh boy!

She went back to it after I got her dressed and ready for the day.

Shoes

Emily LOVES shoes. My shoes, Adam's shoes and her shoes. We have our shoes lined up by the door when you first come in. They typically don't stay there all lined up neatly. She usually has to try all of them on and eventually they are scattered all over the house. One sneaker could be in the kitchen while the match is in my bedroom. I go through at the end of the night and line them all back up.

She is really good at getting them on all by herself too!

New Camera!

For my birthday I got a new camera.  After hours of research I decided on the Canon Powershot XS20 IS.  So far I love it, but I have a lot of learning to do!

Here are some shots I took of Emily yesterday when I went to pick her up from my mom's house.

Weight update

Emily went to the doctor office yesterday for her 6 week weight check.  Drum roll please...........she now weighs 18 lbs. 9 oz!

I am so happy she gained some weight.  There was no concern about her head measurements.  Yay!

She is still rear facing in her car seat.  At this rate, she will be rear facing until she enters kindergarden!

Chips

Emily went into the chip cupboard in the kitchen and grabbed the tortilla chips.  She then went back to her chair in the living room and started chomping down on them.  

I step out to put a few dishes in the dishwasher and came back to this:

I went to get the vacuum cleaner and Emily started doing this:

She took a few chips and went back to her chair.  Silly kid.
